FrenchEntrée is Looking for Writers & Contributors!

Do you have a passion for topics related to French property and living in France, and want to write about them for FrenchEntrée?

We’re looking for writers and contributors that have knowledge or expertise in a range of subjects from building and renovations, to raising children in France or running a small business. You would work alongside our FE digital editor to write how-to articles or informative guides that provide our readers with reliable information and practical advice on your chosen subject area.

Our ideal candidates will:

• Have first-hand or professional experience of the subject matter. Perhaps you work as a builder in France or run a gîte in France?
• Be able to write in an engaging and easy-to-follow style, following guidelines set out by our editor. Professional writing experience is a plus, but not essential
• Be interested in writing a minimum of 5 articles focused on their area of expertise
• Basic knowledge of SEO is a plus, but not essential

We’re looking for writers that can write about the following subjects:

• Building and renovation in France (planning permissions, hiring workers, renovation advice)
• Working in France (working as an au pair or English teacher, tourism and seasonal work, other jobs for expats)
• Running a business in France (setting up a small business or as an auto-entrepreneur, running a business)
• Running a Gite or Chambre d’Hôte in France
• Car ownership and driving in France (control techniques, visiting a mechanic, buying/renting/selling a car)
• Raising a family in France (pregnancy, maternity care, the French school system, raising bilingual children, caring for elderly family members)
• Swimming pools (installing and maintaining a swimming pool in France)
• France for Americans (specific visa/tax requirements for American expats)
• Specific types of French property – new builds, leaseback, eco homes, smallholdings, mobile homes, ski property, etc
