How to make Kir Normand
Ingredients
· Cider
· A measure of crème de cassis*
· A dash of Calvados (apple brandy from the Calvados region of Normandy)
Pour a measure of crème de cassis into a wine glass. Add a dash of Calvados and top up with ice-cold cider. Enjoy chilled as an apéritif before a meal.
* Crème de cassis can be replaced by other creamy fruit liqueurs, such as crème de mûre or crème de framboise for a variation
