Maison Victoire: Combining French Property Sales With Local Arts Events

The runaway success of a British estate agency that combines property sales with cultural gatherings of their buyers and local creatives with food, wine, and music!

Maison Victoire Special Events

In January 2023, Maison Victoire set up an exhibition space within its offices showcasing artists from the region. It hosts one-off events organized throughout the year and aims to bring together clients and friends of Maison Victoire through artistic and cultural exchanges.

Victoria explains:

“Maison Victoire Special Events” was born out of a desire to mix business with pleasure. We wanted our clients – newcomers as well as local friends – to experience the delights of this area whilst meeting the characters holding shared appreciation for them.

Our aim is to bring together local people who have deep roots in the Vaucluse with the international community who have chosen to make Provence their home. We host a collection of events throughout the year to celebrate the formidable creative minds that make Provence so rich in culture, in a convivial setting, with a light-hearted tone. These events are seasoned with the gastronomic delights of our region, bringing you the most acclaimed wines from the celebrated vineyards of the Vaucluse and a feast of local epicurean delicacies.

We like to ‘do immobilier’ in a more holistic, community-orientated, and service-driven way. It’s not just about the house you buy… it’s about building a life, and we relish the opportunity to introduce you to the people of our beautiful region, their talents, and passions. We recognise that many of these elements contribute to your decision to come and live here, and we hope you will join us, and be spellbound by the treasure trove of cultural riches that Provence offers.”

An American in Provence

The second of these events took place on 4 May, when Maison Victoire unveiled its new magazine created in collaboration with Ruth Ribeaucourt (editor and artistic director of FAIRE magazine) and launched the exhibition of photographic works by Jamie Beck from her NYT bestselling book, An American in Provence.

The Maison Victoire magazine contains the agency’s exclusive buyer-seller guide to successful real estate transactions in Provence, as well as articles featuring people who embody the Provençal “art de vivre”: professional cyclists who love adrenaline, antique dealers, vineyards and foodies, not to mention famous interior designers, artists and photographers.

The exhibition of “An American in Provence” is a fine collection of exquisite portraits, scene and still life photography by highly popular and award-winning photographer Jamie Beck.

Thirty-eight unique antique French frames were found and collected by the artist during her years in Provence, making this exhibit a true physical expression of the region. Each one-of-a-kind artwork is printed on the highest quality Hahnemühle bamboo fibre paper by master printer Pascal Dumas of Labo Des Photographes in Cucuron, France. Framed by Atelier Polychrome in Aix-en-Provence with museum quality anti-reflective glass.
