Paris Posts People’s Valentine Messages on City Billboards

Passers-by are being treated to an extra-dose of romance in Paris on Valentine’s Day. For days people have been entering love messages of 160 characters addressed to the object of their affection and today, February 14, the messages are displayed all day on the city’s public information billboards.

Lovers could type a Valentine’s Day message on the Paris website of a maximum of 160 characters addressed to the object of their affection. People in Paris got into the spirit and some even took the leap and proposed.

The most romantic compositions were then displayed on the City’s 170 illuminated public information boards repeatedly throughout the day on 14th February. Some were personal messages of undying love, some were marriage proposals, and lucky for Remi, his beloved said yes!
