For Those Laid Back Summer Evenings… Wine from Provence.
The evenings for never-ending lazy summer dinners are here. There is a very French way of pairing wine with food, and summer calls for quality fresh ingredients simply cooked and a refreshing rosé from Provence. Throw some seafood on the outdoor plancha, plump tomatoes from the garden, thick olive oil, crunchy bread, and you have a feast in 10 minutes.
The AOC Côtes de Provence is the dominant wine in supermarkets, but if you’re lucky enough to be spending your summer in Provence, try one of the local small wineries for some pleasant surprises. Served frais (chilled but not too cold) and enjoy.
